After accepting submissions to host screenings of A Film to Decrease Worldsuck throughout January and February, we selected ten cities to host the film between March and August! Check them out below to see if it is coming near you! More specific dates will be released ASAP.
2/16/13: The Numbers Are In...
Well, long time no update! Since our last post in September, we have completed production on the film and are almost finished with post-production! Currently, we are running a contest for screenings of the film, of which there will be 10. These screenings will take place throughout the country - and the world! - between March and August of this year. The first screening will take place at Ball State University on March 26th. Another screening will take place at Indy Reads in downtown Indianapolis on May 10th.
To read more about the process of making the film, please see our updated "About the Project" page for a complete narrative. As always, remember to follow us on social media to stay up to date on where we are at with the film!

9/6/12: WANTED: State/Country Liaisons!
Recently I was contacted by Zachary, an American Nerdfighter living in Ireland. He volunteered to do some interviews for me. Since then, I've spoken with people in the UK and Australia who would like to help do the same thing! That got my thinking... why can't we try and set this up everywhere? So we are searching for people who would be willing to set up Nerdfighter gatherings and conduct interviews with Nerdfighters. if you are interested in helping out in your state or country, let us know!
8/27/12: Meghan Tonjes
While at VidCon, we had the pleasure of watching (and listening to!) Meghan Tonjes perform The Fault Is In Our Stars live! Check it out below.
7/15/12: VidCon Education Panel
While we were at VidCon, we filmed a few of the sessions! One of them was a panel on education. Included in this panel were, of course, Hank and John Green. Before it started, Hank came up and asked Paul if he could put the entirety of the panel online. Of course we said yes! Here is part one of six.
7/6/12: VidCon Recap!
Here's our video recap of what we did at VidCon!
6/12/12: Funding goal succeeded, and a newsletter!
Long time no update! If you've visited our Kickstarter lately, you will have noticed that we REACHED OUR FUNDING GOAL! Not only that, we surpassed it! Thank you so much to everyone who showed monetary support. But this project is far from finished! In fact, it has just begun.
We also received our first Nerdfighter Story Contest response. Andrea told us an adorable story about how she fell in Nerdfighter Love! We need more Nerdfighters like Andrea to help us tell the whole story of Nerdfighteria! So the contest is going to continue as long as we are editing the film! So Nerdfighters, don't be afraid to vlog and tell us your story. Below are some ideas if you need something to vlog about.
On the 27th we head to VidCon in Anaheim! And we are incredibly excited! If you're going to be there, make sure to let us know on our Facebook and Twitter. And if you come talk to us, you just might receive one of these awesome puppy-sized elephant paper clips. :) (See below.)
Last but not least, we are starting a newsletter! (Click to sign up.) This is a way for you to keep updated on all of the happenings with the film. We promise not to send you more than one update a week!
DFTBA!
